A good game for groups that are relatively new, this activity will encourage people to learn each other's names.
Give each person a piece of paper and pen. Start out by asking them to write their name in capital letters in the middle of the page. Each person then moves around the room inviting others to "attach" their name to the crossword.
Whoever has the most names at the end of the allocated time is the winner!
An optional extra is to "test" the winner prior to awarding the prize by picking out one name on their sheet of paper - if the winner cannot identify that person they don't win!

A good alternative is to get the kids to write their name in the middle of the paper, and then try to place each others names 'scrabble' style off of the letters.
It can be harder if you say you can only connect 3 names in one line max.
